As vice president of private clubs and procurement for GOLF Business Solutions, Mike Hendrix has oversight of Clubhouse Solutions, the suite of solutions dedicated to helping private golf and country clubs become more efficient and effective through innovative technology, services and best-in-class customer support. Additionally, he has played a critical role in developing and managing the company’s no-cost group buying program, ClubBuy, which is used by hundreds of private clubs in the golf industry and beyond. In his prior role at GOLF, Hendrix was directly involved in establishing the GOLFNOW Services division in 2015, which includes: Answers, a white-label service that answers every call – day or night – for a participating golf course; and Plus, a consultation service that helps golf courses manage marketing, sales, social media and pricing. Under his leadership, the division grew to service nearly 3,000 partner golf courses.
Prior to GOLF Business Solutions, Hendrix launched and operated a successful golf marketing company, Ohio's Golf, which pioneered branded stay-and-play golf packages and introduced online tee times to hundreds of golf courses. Prior to entering the golf industry, he owned and operated several Subway sandwich shops. During his time with the Milford, Conn.-based company, he invented and sourced the original Subway box lunch container.
Hendrix is a proud alumnus of Appalachian State University and has spent more than 20 years coaching baseball and basketball at the high school, middle school and travel ball levels.
