About Mike

As Vice President & General Manager of Travel, Experience and Events, Mike oversees the GOLF Advisor travel and courses business along with the GOLF Am Tour, the largest competitive amateur golf tour in North America. Before assuming leadership of these brands, Mike spent eight years in various digital roles at GOLF Channel, most recently Vice President, Product Development & User Experience for GOLF Channel’s B2C brands.

Prior to joining GOLF Channel, Mike spent 13 years at Acushnet Company, manufacturers of Titleist and FootJoy golf products.  During his 13-year tenure, he held positions in customer service, sales, product development, marketing and digital/e-commerce. Mike was also responsible for launching MyJoys, FootJoy’s first online custom shoe and licensed products business.

Mike is a Massachusetts native and graduate of Providence College (BS, Marketing) and UMASS Amherst (MBA). He lives in Windermere, Fla., with his wife, two children and goldendoodle, Arnie (Palmer).

About Brian

Brian Skena is a Manager within the Business Services Division of GOLF Business Solutions, a complete spectrum of business-to-business services offered by the family of golf brands within the NBC Sports Group portfolio and managed by GOLF Channel. In his role, Brian leads a team focused on assisting GOLFNOW golf course partners with revenue management, helping them present clean, attractive online inventory that brings golfers to the course using dynamic pricing strategies meant to fill their tee sheets at the highest possible rate.

Prior to working within the GOLF family, Brian helped grow the game as a golf coach, as both an independent instructor, as well as with GolfTEC training centers nationwide and Scottsdale, Ariz.-based John Jacobs Golf Schools. He also has held industry roles as a retail manager, tournament director, and golf professional at green-grass facilities. Brian is a Class-A member of the PGA of America, a Recognized First Tee Coach, and a product of Penn State’s Professional Management program.

About Rick

Rick Coffey, Certified Membership Professional (CMP), quickly and definitively established himself as one of the top sales performers and thought leaders in the private club industry. In March 2019, Rick joined GOLF Business Solutions as National Sales Manager for the private club division. Based in Jacksonville, Fla., Coffey is dedicated to growing the private business for the popular network.

Climbing the ladder of the Professional Club Marketing Association, at age 35 he became the group’s youngest National President before moving to Clubessential to build and launch their CRM product to the industry. During his prominent eight-year membership sales career, he earned a National Salesperson of the Year award in 2010, National Membership Challenge award winner in 2012, created 260 new memberships and over $40 million in added revenue under his sales leadership.

From his multiple articles in BoardRoom magazine and more than 15 articles for the monthly PCMA newsletter, he has also led the Membership panel at the annual Private Club Leadership Conference the past four years at Medinah Country Club in Chicago.
